Ok, These dudes are not from Atlanta. Never been to the A or are they coming to the A. My South London fam put me up on them and a must share with you. Great time for me to expand the focus of the blog. Good, hardcore, underground Hip-Hop. Fuck where it’s from.
In honor of JAX’s birthday I am releasing the last song he laid down in my studio. It was for my solo production project and features JAX along with Roy G. Biv, Omega, and Ghost. I used to pick him up from work and we would just bug out. A lot of the verses he would write were a lot darker than most of his other material. We even started a group, The Shark Skin Suit Sibling but were unable to really get it off before he passed. I miss my brother and will always love him. I feel blessed to have recorded with him and be able to share his music with you. JAX LIVES!
Don’t get it twisted. Before Mr. Price was running around with a video camera he was killing stages with various groups. This is a sample of his only solo project to date. I am still trying to convince him to pick the mic back up. I pulled 7 songs of the album for you to enjoy. Classic material. This shit is hard.
F@#k the Bullsh$t, Jae Ellis is a beast. From Cult of Icon to working with Freeway, he gets it in. Mr. Ellis is one of my top 10 mc’s. Go get the Don Cannon mixtape or any of his projects.
Dres making his acting debut. I also saw a picture of Dres in Tyler Perry’s show, Meet the Browns. In the corner of the barber shop is hanging a huge picture of The Beatnik. Wow.
Everyone talks about how nobody knows what's going on in the ATL underground community. Let's do something about that. My goal is to create an online forum for us. A one stop shop. A place for the outside world and a place for you to keep up with your peers. Share your resources and your wisdom. Everyone will win. Peace.
